She will tempt you with promises of cars to be unveiled but shove ‘leaked’ images in your face until the day comes when all that you have to look forward to at the Frankfurt Motor Show are the pretty women. Wait, that didn’t come out as morose as it was supposed to.
Lamborghini
Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., is presenting at the Volkswagen Group Night in Frankfurt the most extreme Gallardo ever: the Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale. Read more on the most hardcore Gallardo here.
Lancia
Lancia is presenting the Ypsilon Diamond show-car at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show. The Ypsilon Diamond represents the ultimate in luxury, typified by prestigious interior materials and a refined body finish created by a unique paint treatment and finish. Lancia has termed this paint treatment “eco-chrome” finish, which achieves a chrome effect by means of a special paint rather than by conventional chrome plating. The methacrylate gear lever knob is made to look like a gem stone, reminding occupants of the name of this Lancia show-car. Lancia will also present the first three of the Lancia-Chrysler alliance cars : Thema, Voyager and Flavia Cabrio.
The Italians, are coming to the show with the Ferrari 458 Spider and a Lamborghini super sports car, which in all probability should be the Sesto Elemento production version, which is too ‘light’ to be road legal and hence can only be driven on track, which beats the point of it being a ‘production’ version! Nonetheless, to behold these cars in flesh is reason enough to get on a plane to Frankfurt.
Aston Martin
Aston Martin Zagato V12 production version debuts at Frankfurt. Crossing the finish line on the June 25th at the Nurburgring 24 Hours endurance event, Aston Martin’s number 5 V12 Zagato took 5th place in the SP8 class with sister car, the number 3 V12 Zagato finishing 6th. The pair of V12 Zagatos will join the Aston Martin stand at Frankfurt in September alongside the stunning One-77 supercar and the recently launched Virage and Vantage S.
Land Rover
The Land Rover DC100, a modern interpretation of the iconic Land Rover Defender will make its debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Ford
Ford Evos Concept to debut at Frankfurt Motor Show 2011 is a showcase of Ford’s first truly global design language and a new vision for customer-focused and intuitive technologies. Ford’s designs are becoming more and more desirable with each step of its evolution.
Jaguar
The Jaguar C-X16 production concept will make its global debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show on September 13. Jaguar has released a design sketch, with more images to follow.

Alfa Romeo
Alfa Romeo will have its 4C concept on display in Frankfurt which is marked by the new “Fluid Metal” livery that dynamically enhances the smooth, curvy and original lines. Alfa Romeo 4C Concept has been voted “Most Beautiful Concept Car of the Year” by the readers of the German magazine, Auto Bild, coming out on top of its many competitors presented over recent months at the Geneva, Detroit, Tokyo and Shanghai Motor Shows.
Fiat
Fiat will present the new Panda at the Frankfurt International Motor Show in addition to the 2012 Fiat Punto, Fiat Freemont (AWD), Fiat 500 equipped with the Twinair engine and a cabriolet 500 special by Gucci.
Abarth
Abarth will be at the 64th Frankfurt International Motor Show with three major world débuts, the Abarth 500C, the Abarth Punto “Supersport” and the Abarth 695 Competizione.
