After the Formula 1 fiasco at Donington Park which calls itself the “Heart of British Motor Racing” the famous racing circuit lost not just F1 but also MotoGP and WSBK to the “Home of British Motor Racing” which happens to be Silverstone. But the promoters of Donington rebuilt the circuit and have slowly brought back World Superbikes which was held as the European round as opposed to the British round at Silverstone. But things will change for the better for Donington from 2014 onwards when it will become the host of the British round of World Superbikes and Silverstone will have no race of the World SBK series. Fans of Donington are hoping that MotoGP also will return to Donington Park and only Formula1 will remain at Silverstone. This just might be possible over the next two or three years. Let us see what developments take place.
