It is well known that Honda has been miffed by the attempts that KTM has made in order to create a full factory team in Moto3 championship and also that Mahindra is also doing something to this effect. Honda has therefore decided to comeback with a vengeance and the Estrella Galicia team that is run by Emilio Alzamora who has mentored Marc Marquez and is now going to mentor Marquez’s younger brother Alex Marquez and the contender for this year’s Moto3 title Alex Rins. It is being said that the motorcycles will be given free of cost to the Estrella Galicia team and will be given at subsidised prizes to Racing Team Germany’s Efren Vazquez and John McPhee and also to Alexis Masbou and Zulfahmi Khairuddin of of CBC Corse Squad. So 4 Honda’s will be given with subsidised prizes and two absolutely free of cost and these will be the works bikes of Honda in Moto3. The motorcycles will be called the NSF 250 R but will be very different from the FTR Hondas that have been run this year. These old motorcycles will simply be called FTRs  and feature a single exhaust as opposed to the double exhaust of the new Hondas.
