The sub Santro small car that Hyundai has codenamed HA will debut only in the first half of the year 2012. Motoroids.com has quoted Hyundai officials on this. The car has been caught testing in Chennai a few times. This car is supposed to be Hyundai’s weapon to fight the Maruti Suzuki Alto which is virtually unchallenged and sells a mind boggling 30,000+ units every month. The specs of the HA are not out yet but it is believed that it will be an 800cc car. Hyundai is looking at the rural markets and wants to penetrate them with the HA. Motoroids.com has also said that this is a purely made for India car with no plans of export immediately. So what will it be called? Not i5 we hope, seriously.
