The Harley Owner Groups world wide and the official Royal Enfield Owners Club have been around for sometime now. While HOGs is global the REOC is more restricted to India and in the recent past the Bajaj Avenger Riders Club was attempted to be formed by the riders of the Avenger (we don’t really know if they have been successful), Suzuki has now launched the official Suzuki big bike riders (read that as mainly the Intruder owners) as the Suzuki Biking Lords club. This seems to be a way to build brand Suzuki and that way it could push the sales of the commuter products. Top down approach seems to be the preferred option of all players in India and that Suzuki also has adopted the same strategy.
