Triumph Motorcycles of the UK, a born again under the steady leadership of John Bloor who resurrected the brand from the dead has been blowing hot and cold about entering the Indian market space. Finally it has decided it is worth stepping in but the motorcycles that it is going to launch at the end of this month (November, 2013) will be brought in as CKD which will be assembled up north before the full fledged factory goes on stream sometime in 2015. Triumph is also working on India specific products like the new 250cc motorcycle that is already under development in good old Blighty.   Triumph has not created an India spec website but has tagged on an India page onto its British website. The website can be found at http://www.triumph.co.uk/india/ and it lists seven motorcycles. The first of the lot is the most eagerly awaited Triumph Bonneville.

Right now all these will be priced in the stratosphere. The not so rich will have to drool over this till the 250 cc to come.
