In the AGM held on the 17th of June, 2011 the shareholders of the Hero Honda Motors have approved the new name Hero MotoCorp for the company. It is now well known that Honda has pulled out from the JV with Hero and therefore the company has been looking for a new identity. Hero has entrusted the work of new brand and identity building to reputed consultants and it is just a matter of time before the company will announce the change of identity and name, now that it has the approval of the shareholders.
