It is being said that the already harried customer of Toyota’s Etios may have to wait longer now to take possession of the car.  The car though featuring a high level of localization, still has a number of key parts that come from Japan.  The after effects of the horrendous tsunami and the problems of Fukushima nuclear radiation could set back the delivery of some components and this could delay deliveries further.  In all this it remains to be seen if Toyota will launch the Liva in June.  Toyota could be ruing the fact this maybe a loss of a great business opportunity.  Toyota’s problems could work in favour of the competition, especially the Tata Manza that boasts of a number of great features at an incredible cost.
