BMW unveiled the M6 Gran Coupe to a select few at a private event held at Nürburgring. Images have been circulating the web since yesterday, but its only now that BMW has officially acknowledged the existence of the M6 Gran Coupe through the BMW M Facebook page and the BMW M-Power website.
The M6 Gran Coupe will slot in between the M6 Coupe and the M6 Convertible and BMW says that more information will be available from December, which in other words would mean an official unveiling followed by a World Premiere at the Detroit Auto Show. At this moment, the only information we have is that the M6 Gran Coupe shares the aggressive bodywork and the 552hp 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine with the M6 Coupe and Convertible.
The M6 Gran Coupe also gets the new steering wheel seen on the M6 Coupe and Convertible. The 640d Gran Coupe which was recently launched in India, gets the familiar BMW steering wheel from last year, which we have to say isn’t as gorgeous as the new design now!
The M6 Gran Coupe also gets the fantastic looking diamond cut alloys we’ve seen on the M6 Coupe and Convertible.
