Maserati wants to sell 50,000 units a year by 2015. Harald Wester, Maserati CEO has said that the new 2013 Maserati Quattroporte will be at the helm of this unparalleled strategic and industrial growth spurred by the launch of three new models. In addition to the Quattroporte the other two new models will be the E segment four-door sedan named Ghibli, and the luxury SUV Levante. The new Quattroporte is reported to be more spacious than the outgoing model and still remains as handsome as ever. The new Quattroporte retains distinct design characteristic like the front grill, the three side vents and the triangular C pillar. The biggest distinguishing design feature has to be the strong belt line that runs through the entire side of the car with frameless doors and three side windows giving the new Quattroporte a look and feel. Maserati says the new look is ‘at once muscular and elegant’.
