New Saab 9-5

The most sure bidder for Saab was Zhejiang Youngman Lotus Automobile from China, a company that had tendered an offer of $492 million for SAAB. reports ‘Chinese bureaucracy’ and an apparent lack of confidence in the Chinese company’s finances have led to Zhejiang being dropped out of the race ( race? not really) to acquire Saab.

Autoblog reports that Mahindra & Mahindra and Geely/Volvo and another unknown entity are the bidders we know who are after the whole company or select assets.
