This is the new Fiat Linea that might heading to our shores later this year. As is evident from the images, there is just that much more chrome everywhere. The number plate at the rear has been moved up, and the bumpers front and rear have been redesigned.
The new Fiat family grille might not go down well with current fans of the Linea, but it gels well with Fiat’s new design language that we first saw on the Nuovo Panda.
The new Linea is expected to debut with the 1.4 MultiAir petrol and the 75 horsepower 1.3 MultiJet II diesel. The MultiAir technology implements an electro-hydraulic valve control system to ensure combustion is optimal at all times, CO2 emissions are lowered by 25% and power is increased by 10% at the same time. With 8 injections per cycle, the 1.3 MultiJet II improves low rpm torque delivery by up to 25% and cuts emissions by 6%
