Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., launches ‘the Vespa’ in India; we get a closer look
Piaggio India Chairman and MD, Mr. Ravi Chopra announced the launch of the Vespa, the timeless, iconic scooter in India.
Piaggio India has set up a state of the art manufacturing facility at Barmati, with an initial capacity of 150,000 vehicles a year.
The Vespa will be available in 35 cities in the country, come April 2012.
Vespa also announced an official Vespa Club in India, that will add to the 685 Vespa clubs around the world.
