The Nano from Tata has had a baptism by fire, literally. However, if the last two months are anything to go by the Nano seems to be regaining lost ground. It has sold in excess of 8,000 units in February and March, 2011. That is good considering the fact that in November of 2010 it sold a mere 500 plus units. But if you take the larger picture of the car market, the Maruti Alto which is costlier than the Nano has sold more than 30,000 cars per month in the same two months. It is obvious Nano still has a long way to the top.
