Ford has unveiled the new Fiesta donning the global Ford family design, set for a launch later this year. The new Fiesta’s face is dominated by a trapezoidal front grille, flanked by laser cut headlamps. At the rear the tail lamps are different. The lip spoiler at the rear and a new bumper with chrome accent adds to the premium look. The interiors are mostly unchanged and Ford’s SYNC with Applink will add to driver convenience. The new Ford Fiesta features a high-gloss finish for the upper instrument panel that flows to the lower centre console and is replicated in door panels. For those who prefer a light interior, the designers put in a two-tone instrument panel which creates visual space and roominess says Ford. the new Fiesta gets Ford’s signature Ice Blue lighting to illuminate dials, switches and displays. Ford says there are of course new seat fabrics and designs are offered with comfort fabric trims. Eye-catching patterns and textures, including contrast stitching.
