The Times of India, dated 3rd May has quoted Manuel Arroyo, the MD of Dorna the organizers of MotoGP as saying that MotoGP will come to India and that the Indian Circuit’s managers are in discussion with Dorna, even though the deliberations are still only in a very nascent stage. In the past there had been talk of India hosting a MotoGP race in 2012 following FIM President Vito Ippolito statements to that effect. While a race looks imminent the question seems to be about the date. Fingers crossed and hoping for 2012.
